New Years Hot Spots in Vegas
New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas is a spectacle to behold, being that the city of Las Vegas is THE place to be when the New Year rolls around. The city of Las Vegas comes alive for New Year’s, as it turns into one big gala. The Strip in Las Vegas is packed with people during New Year’s Eve; the city has a fireworks show with awesome fireworks exploding above the Strip; the casinos are alive with the excitement, and there are more A-list entertainers with acts in Las Vegas than in all the cities in America combined. The air is electric at New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas, as there is so much going on.
Where To Stay For New Years
The best places to stay in Las Vegas for New Year’s Eve are the hotels on the Strip. There are a couple of reasons for this. One - during New Year’s Eve, the hotels/casinos on the Strip always have something going on, from major New Year’s Eve parties to some of the best shows. Two - since the hotels are right on the Strip, you can simply step outside for one big party during New Year’s Eve. Just a few of the major hotel/casinos that are great to stay in during New Years are the Bellagio, New York New York, the Venetian, Caesar’s Palace, the Mirage, and Treasure Island. Some of the major hotel/casinos that are right off the Strip are also great places to stay, such as the Flamingo, the Hard Rock, and the Wynn. The closer you are to the Strip, the closer you are to one of the biggest parties in the world.
The Early Bird Gets The Worm
Considering that Las Vegas during New Year’s Eve is one of the premier hot spots on the globe to ring in the New Year, the accommodations can get expensive. This is especially the case if you do not book your accommodations early. The earlier you book, the more room/rooms will be available and the cheaper they will be. That is not to say they will be cheap, but you would be amazed how expensive the rooms are, especially near or on the Strip, during New Year’s Eve, and that is even if you can find a room. If you know you are going to be in Las Vegas during New Year’s Eve, you should book your accommodations early.
The Strip – The Place To Be
As stated before, the Strip during New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas is one big party. The street is completely shut off to traffic, and there is no cover charge for the biggest party in town. At midnight on the Strip, the fireworks show begins and with all the people partying in the street, you would think it was the last New Year’s ever. You can drink on the street, but it is better to get your alcohol beforehand, as sometimes the stores on the Strip sell out quickly as New Years draws near. If you want to get a good seat for the show, get there early.
The Clubs – Party All Night Long
Besides the close proximity to the Strip, another reason that the major hotel/casinos on or near the Strip are great to stay at is the clubs. Most of the major hotels near and on the Strip have great clubs that have fantastic parties during New Years in Las Vegas. The big clubs are packed with people ringing in the New Year, and the clubs are THE places to be seen in Sin City. Most of the major clubs have cover charges for these parties, and many of them have party packages, which include entrance to the club, as well as a private table. Just a few of the hot clubs in Las Vegas during New Years are Pure Las Vegas at Caesar’s Palace, Coyote Ugly at New York New York, Tangerine at Treasure Island, TAO at the Venetian, the Bank Nightclub and the Fix Restaurant and Bar at the Bellagio, and the Jet Nightclub at the Mirage. These are just a few of the hot clubs that are all around the Strip.
The Shows – Get Ready To Be Entertained
Since there are so many people that come to Las Vegas during New Years, there are always big shows going on. This is especially the case in some of the bigger hotels/casinos on or near the Strip. From major live entertainment shows and popular comedians to some of the biggest names in the world of music, the shows in Las Vegas during New Year’s Eve can’t be beat. Many times, if you book a package deal, you can receive not only accommodations, but also tickets to some of the hottest shows in town.
